Nordiske Medier is merging the two industry media outlets for the manufacturing sector, Metal Supply and Jern & Maskinindustrien. The new media will continue under the name Metal Supply.

 

The news www.metalsupply.dk is a subscription-based media outlet featuring two regular newsletters on weekdays. Additionally, the best content from the media will be published in print every two weeks under the name Metal Supply.

 

By merging the two editorial teams, the aim is to deliver even stronger content to the industrial audience both in print and digitally.

 

Three dedicated journalists and an experienced editor are joining forces to deliver an even stronger editorial product. This editorial upgrade will enhance Metal Supply’s ability to provide high-quality content and offer more comprehensive coverage of the industry than ever before.

With the additional editorial resources, Metal Supply will now be able to get even closer to the most interesting players in the industry, providing deeper insights into their successes, plans, investments, and product developments. At the same time, the media will continue to cover important topics such as bankruptcies, acquisitions, financial reports, executive changes, and other relevant stories that impact the industry.

 

Metal Supply’s target audience will remain the sectors of subcontractors, foundries, metal wholesalers, surface treatment companies, and robotics and automation firms. At the same time, Metal Supply will maintain a continuous focus on the top companies in the industry to ensure we stay at the forefront of developments.

 

The merger of the two media outlets also marks the end of a historic brand in Danish press history. Jern & Maskinindustrien first appeared in print in 1971 and has since provided close coverage of the industry.

 

In the fall of 2023, Metal Supply celebrated its 20th anniversary, having first launched in 2003 as the inaugural media outlet in the Industry Supply group.

 

After Danske Fagmedier and Industry Supply were merged under a single name – Nordiske Medier – in 2014, both Jern & Maskinindustrien and Metal Supply have been published concurrently under Nordiske Medier.
