Nordiske Medier is merging the two industry media outlets for the manufacturing industry, Metal Supply and Jern & Maskinindustrien. The new media outlet will continue under the name Metal Supply.

 

The new www.metalsupply.dk is a subscription-based media outlet with two regular newsletters on weekdays. Additionally, the strongest content from the media will be published in print every other week under the name Metal Supply.

 

With the merger of the two editorial teams, the ambition is to ensure even stronger content for the target audience in the industry, both in print and digitally.

 

Three dedicated journalists and an experienced editor are joining forces to deliver an even stronger editorial product. The editorial upgrade will strengthen Metal Supply's ability to deliver quality content and cover the industry more comprehensively than ever before.

With the additional editorial resources, Metal Supply is now able to get even closer to the most interesting players in the industry and provide deeper insight into their successes, plans, investments, and product developments. At the same time, the media will continue to cover important topics such as bankruptcies, acquisitions, financial reports, CEO changes, and other relevant stories that impact the industry.

 

Metal Supply’s target audience remains the industries for subcontractors, foundries, metal wholesalers, surface treatment companies, and robotics and automation firms. At the same time, Metal Supply continues to focus on the industry’s top companies to ensure that we stay at the forefront of development.

 

The merger of the two media outlets also marks a farewell to an old brand in Danish press history. Jern & Maskinindustrien was first published in print in 1971 and has closely covered the industry ever since.

 

Metal Supply celebrated its 20th anniversary in the fall of 2023, after the media outlet first saw the light of day in 2003 as the first media outlet within the company Industry Supply.

 

After Danske Fagmedier and Industry Supply were merged under one name – Nordiske Medier – in 2014, both Jern & Maskinindustrien and Metal Supply have been published concurrently under Nordiske Medier.
