The new office is part of the media house’s long-term ambition to be the preferred B2B media for businesses.
With the establishment of the office in Aarhus on August 1, 2023, Nordiske Medier becomes one of the most nationwide business editorial offices in Denmark, with offices in the four largest Danish cities: Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense, and Aalborg.
"By opening the office in Aarhus, Nordiske Medier brings its editorial team even closer to our readers and businesses, achieving a nationwide presence," says Søren Dietrichsen.
"We believe that the new office will strengthen our ability to deliver relevant and credible business journalism of high quality and improve our coverage of the country’s businesses."
The office in Aarhus will initially be staffed with four journalists and two from the commercial department, but there is potential for future expansion. The establishment of the office also gives Nordiske Medier a better opportunity to attract the best business journalists.
Earlier this year, Nordiske Medier opened an editorial office in Odense and currently employs around 50 business journalists in Denmark. As a growing media house, Nordiske Medier has expanded its portfolio of B2B niche media through the acquisition of Lastbilmagasinet and SCMNews in December last year. Additionally, Nordiske Medier has launched three new niche media outlets: EnergyIslandNews, LynetteholmNews, and FemernNews.
